This August, Elizabeth Fagan will make her Third Rail debut as Marian Paroo (and others) in THE MUSIC MAN!
Elizabeth is a musician and theatre artist. She currently serves as the Acting Academy Manager at Oregon Children’s Theatre and performs with her band, Lili St Anne. Some of her favorite stage roles have been: Meredith in Bat Boy: The Musical; Antigone in Anouilh’s Antigone;and Nina in The Seagull. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Gender Studies and also lived and studied in France at Jacques Lecoq International School of Theatre – she likes to think that Marian the Librarian was reading plenty of Simone de Beauvoir.
This August, Shahayla Ononaiye will make her Third Rail debut as Quartet 4 (and others) in THE MUSIC MAN!
Shahayla is thrilled to be in her first Third Rail production! The La Grande, Oregon vocal teacher has played roles on Eastern Oregon stages including Eponine in Les Miserables, and The Lady of the Lake in Spamalot. Recently, Ononaiye appeared in the cajun-flavored version of Beauty and the Beast with Broadway Rose, and soon will be playing Deena Jones in Dreamgirls with Stumptown Stages. Ononaiye is grateful for her husband Jake’s unwavering support and encouragement, and she is also thankful for her host families that have given her a home while she explores her passions in Portland.
Third Rail is thrilled to welcome Mentorship Program alumna Emily Eisele as Quartet 3 (and others) in this August’s concert staging of THE MUSIC MAN!
Emily never suspected she would revisit The Music Man after playing Amaryllis many years ago, but is tickled to experience the show in this new, imaginative way. Most recently, Emily was seen as Caroline in I And You (Artists Repertory Theatre.) She is an alum of the Third Rail Mentorship Company, during which time she performed in The Norwegians, Edgar & Annabel, and ID[ea]. Other favorite credits include: Sheri in American Hero; Natalia in Band Geeks; Cinderella in Into The Woods; and Beth in Little Women.

After 10+ years in NYC and LA, Caitlin is now a Portland-based actor, musician, and instructor. She holds an MFA in Acting from the University of California, Irvine, and a BFA in Musical Theatre from Otterbein University. Recent work includes: Rose in Dogfight (San Francisco Playhouse), Paulina in The Winter’s Tale (Texas Shakespeare Festival), Adriana in The Comedy of Errors (Texas Shakespeare Festival), Clara in Passion (Claire Trevor Theatre), and Clytemnestra in The Electra Project (dir. Mihai Măniuțiu, Romanian National Theatre.)

Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Laura studied Musical Theatre at The Victorian College of the Arts. After a hearty 2 years in London, a variety of cabaret ventures and two contracts as a Lead Production Singer for Holland America Line, Laura landed in the US in 2016 and now calls Portland home. Some of her most memorable roles to date are: Rosie in Mamma Mia (Broadway Rose): Bea in Your Holiday Hit Parade (Broadway Rose); Christine in Phantom (Stumptown Stages); Jennyanydots/Grizabella/Jellylorum in Cats (Australasian Tour); Alexi Darling inRENT (Greenwhich Theatre, London); Felicia Lipschitz in A Class Act (Landor Theater, London.)

Merideth has played definitive leading theatrical roles nationwide, such as Elphaba in the First National Tour of Wicked, Eva Perón in Evita (Northern Stage), Nancy in Oliver! (5th Ave), and has originated roles in two off-Broadway musicals. Clark is a sought-after concert artist described as “plain astonishing” and “a masterful performer” with “powerhouse pipes.” She is a multi-instrumentalist and plays anything with strings, most notably the guitar, dulcimer and viola. Portland credits include: Winter Song (Portland Center Stage); Cathy in The Last Five Years (Portland Center Stage); Tzeitl in Fiddler on the Roof (Portland Center Stage); Clara in The Light in the Piazza (Portland Playhouse); Lilli/Kathryn in Kiss Me Kate (Clackamas Rep) as well as her acclaimed concert with Mont Chris Hubbard, Joni Mitchell’s BLUE.
