Kiss Me Like You Mean It
by Chris Chibnall
October 8-October 31, 2010
Ruth needs some new options and another beer. Tony needs to shut up and participate. Don
needs the upper hand and a curry-flavored condom. Edie needs a little whiskey and a couple of signatures. And they all need
more courage than they could ever have imagined. In the American Premiere of this beautiful, joyous, and heartbreaking play,
the impossible is possible, the beginning is just the beginning, and "a kiss is still a kiss."
The Wonderful World of Dissocia
by Anthony Neilson
January 28-February 20, 2011
Lisa Jones has been feeling a bit off. One hour off, in fact; the hour she lost when her
flight to London crossed the Greenwich meridian at the exact moment daylight savings time ended. To retrieve her wandering
hour, Lisa must take a journey...to Dissocia, where cars fly, bears sing, and the Black Dog King reigns. This wildly
inventive, fearlessly smart, and relentlessly surprising play by the author of The Lying Kind will take you places you
never expected and will never forget.
Last of the Boys
by Steven Dietz
May 6-May 29, 2011
Ben and Jeeter fought together in Vietnam, but thirty years later the fight continues. In a
trailer park on a Superfund site, the buddies are joined by Jeeter's new girlfriend and her caustic, whiskey-fueled mother
for one last hurrah. Fierce, funny, and haunting, this highly theatrical and increasingly relevant play explores the legacy
of war and its human cost. Nominated for the Pulitzer Prize, Last of the Boys is mysterious and original, mind-bending
and time-blending.

The Gray Sisters, A World Premiere, Opens April 30
Meanwhile, our current season is still going strong. Our third production, The Gray
Sisters, opens April 30. This is the world premiere of Craig Wright's new play, written especially for Third Rail's
actresses. Gretchen Corbett, Stephanie Gaslin, Maureen Porter, and Valerie Stevens will star as four sisters who unravel
their family's history, and in the process grapple with questions of love, loyalty, faith, and fate. We'll have more news
about the process of bringing a new play to life in the coming weeks, but the advance word is that this is going to be a
stunning production. Tickets are on sale now!
God's Ear, Directed by Philip Cuomo, Now Playing at Theatre
Vertigo
The Oregonian just gave a great review
to Theatre vertigo's production of God's Ear, which was directed by Third Rail member Philip Cuomo. Here's how Theatre
Vertigo describes the play: When a couple suffers a tragic accident, their grief propels them into a fantastical world where
the Tooth Fairy sings and GI Joe offers family counseling. It's a lyrical journey of love, loss and laughter by emerging
playwright Jenny Schwartz, who the Village Voice described as: "an indelibly clever playwright, possessed of linguistic
playfulness and a lively sense of rhythm." Check it
out!
The Gray Sisters runs April 30 through May 23 at the World Trade Center Theatre. Call
