Twelve More Chances to See Third Rail's Acclaimed "Aloes"
The final show of Third Rail's first full season is up and running. Critics and audiences are praising "A Lesson From Aloes" for its affecting portrayal of how politics impacts our most intimate relationships.

The Willamette Week says, "Fugard's examination of the effects of totalitarian repression on human relationships is a work of terrible sadness played with stifling desperation by the excellent ensemble."

Then there is this from the Portland Tribune: "John Steinkamp is wonderful as the stubborn Piet.... Gretchen Corbett and Kevin Jones also are terrific, and Slayden Scott Yarbrough’s steady direction creates a dire, affecting tableau."

Standing ovations have been common at curtain calls for "Aloes," as have those silences that seem to occur too rarely in the theatre, the kind you hear when 100 people are holding their breath, waiting to hear what happens next.

There are only 12 perfomances remaining for this excellent production. Make your reservations now, before the remaining seats are taken!

Third Rail Repertory Theatre's production of "A Lesson From Aloes" by Athol Fugard runs May 4 through June 2 at the Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center. Call 503-235-1001 to reserve tickets or purchase them online at www.thirdrailrep.org.
