Third Rail's "Grace" Gets High Praise, Tickets Selling Fast!
As of opening night for "Grace," the first show of Third Rail's 2007-2008 season, more than 40% of seats for the show were already sold. Now, with these reactions from the press, we anticipate that tickets will be in high demand.
Marty Hughley of The Oregonian wrote of "Grace," "It's a great piece of writing, intellectually vigorous and playfully structured, and given a note-perfect delivery in this production by Third Rail Repertory Theatre."
And Ben Waterhouse of the Willamette Week could not have had a more positive reaction: "It's the best show I've seen on any Portland stage since 'The Pavilion,' Third Rail's last Wright production. Everything about the production is extraordinary: Damon Kupper, Stephanie Gaslin, Leif Norby and Doug Mace give superb performances; Tim Stapleton's set and Michael Mazzola's lighting are stark and frightening; Jen Raynak's ambient sound is a broadcast from a mechanical inferno. You get the idea? Drop whatever you're doing and order your tickets now. You don't want to miss this one."
What can we add to that except, "Do what the man says! Reserve a ticket! They're going fast!"
Third Rail's production of "Grace" by Craig Wright runs September 28 through October 27 at the Interstate Firehouse Cultural center, 5340 N. Interstate. Call 503-235-1101 for reservations, or purchase tickets at www.thirdrailrep.org.
