Pay-What-You-Will Previews
On the Thursday night just before opening, Third Rail presents a pay-what-you-will preview performance.
Tickets are available in the theatre lobby for one hour prior to the 7:30 performance.
Staged Readings
Once during the run of each show, we'll treat you to a free staged reading. Sometimes we'll present another
play by the same playwright, or we may show you something we're looking at for our next season. Or maybe we
just found a script we can't go another month without reading out loud to you. Whatever the case, you'll
hear a great play, read by our talented actors, for free!
20/20
For every performance we are holding 20 seats in the first two rows. One hour before curtain time
(1pm matinees, 6:30pm evenings) we will sell those seats for only $20 on a first-come, first-served basis.

In conjunction with our Main Stage productions, Third Rail presents several special events throughout the year.
Pre-show Primers
Join us before the show for a ten-minute chat with a Third Rail Company Member. We will pass on interesting
facts about the play, its writer and our production 20 minutes before each performance. Grab a glass of wine
or a snack at concessions and spend some time with the people who "Move Third Rail."
Talkbacks
There will be a brief talkback after every Third Rail performance, except when we have another event right
away (such as our opening night reception, readings, panel discussions or NT Live screenings).
These five- to ten-minute talkbacks give the audience time to explore the play further through discussions
with the director, designers or cast.

Panel Discussions
If you're looking for a chance to dig deeper, plan to attend each of three panel discussions. Presented
over the course of our season, these discussions feature carefully chosen experts who lend thematic insight in
conversation with the audience. Past topics have included "The Politics of Intimidation", and
"Dissecting Comedy".
