The Roller Royle. “His quiff? Gravity defying. His stance? All American.” There wasn’t a heart that didn’t skip a beat when his rhythmic hips undulated and those generous lips parted to croon–making all the ladies swoon. He won the “admiration of any man with manhood” and with just a wink and a whisper slayed hearts. He was the Elvis of Ireland, the James Dean of music. He was The Roller Royle. And one night, in a sleepy Irish town filled with gossip and fish, he forever changed the lives of three sisters. The New Electric Ballroom is a coiled, glitter-dusted fable about the stories that come to define us.
