Kiss Me Like You Mean It

October 8, 2010 - October 31, 2010

World Trade Center - 121 SW Salmon St, Portland, OR 97204

Ruth needs some new options and another beer. Tony needs to shut up and participate. Don needs the upper hand and a curry-flavored condom. Edie needs a little whiskey and a couple of signatures. And they all need more courage than they could ever have imagined. In the American Premiere of this beautiful, joyous, and heartbreaking play, the impossible is possible, the beginning is just the beginning, and “a kiss is still a kiss.”

Reviews

Kiss Me settles comically and achingly into the ordinary obsessions of two couples, one new, one old…It’s not just about each couple’s chemistry, but also about how well each couple interacts with the other. The felicitous blending of such elements is a hallmark of Third Rail’s approach to theater, and a hallmark of Third Rail director Slayden Scott Yarbrough, who is maybe the most craftsmanlike director in town.
