Sarah Smith Makes Her Third Rail Debut

 

We are thrilled to welcome Sarah Smith to the ensemble of Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. opening May 25th, 2018.

Sarah’s favorite previous collaborations include work with CoHo Productions (Portland), Portland Playhouse, Gainesville Theatre Alliance, New Orleans Shakespeare Festival at Tulane, and Swine Palace (Baton Rouge). Favorite roles played include Eliza (The Curious Case of the Watson Intelligence) Rita (Educating Rita), Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), and Nora (A Doll’s House). In addition to her work in theatre, Sarah’s most recent TV credits include Into the Badlands (AMC), American Horror Story (FOX) and Treme (HBO).

TR: What excites you about Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again.

 

SS: What excites me about Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. is the opportunity to set the rules on fire. I hope to entice those who have “started to stop talking” to rejoin the conversation. And I’m delighted to challenge limits and boundaries.

 
 

TR: Do you have a story of a small (or large) act of revolt you’ve participated in? 

 
SS: Holding onto optimism, hope, and kindness in times of desperate sadness.
 
 
TR: What are some titles, identities or names that you claim with pride?
 
SS: Titles I wear with pride: woman, partner, sister, daughter, thespian, vegan.
